Abstract EN

The deafness handicap deprives the individual from positive interaction with those who surround him.

The need to reintegrate those who suffer from this disability in the social context requires the establishment of special programmes designed for this group, programmes that should be compatible with the nature of their disability and fulfils their special needs.

This is to facilitate their social integration and highlight its compensatory potential.

However point of view regarding this idea is still a matter of debate.

While some are in support of the idea of school integration, others advocate the idea of isolation.
