This study aims to identify the administrative empowerment and relation with job satisfaction for public schools principals in dammam directorate / Saudi Arabia kingdom.

The population of the study consisted of (350) male and female school principals working in dammam directorate in the academic school year 2009 -2010.

The researchers developed a tool which consisted of (30) items to measure the administrative empowerment.

They also developed another tool which consisted of (30) items to measure job satisfaction.

The results of the study indicated that the level of administrative empowerment was high, and the level of job satisfaction was a moderate.

There were statistically significant differences at (α ≤ 0.5) in the level of administrator empowerment and job satisfaction level due to female gender variable.

Meanwhile, there were no statistically significant differences at (α ≥ 0.5) due to qualification and experience.

The result also indicated that there was a strong positive correlation between administrative empowerment level and job satisfaction level.

Based on the results of the study, the researchers recommended that job satisfaction should be a priority for the ministry of education school principals should school principals should be given more financial and incentives.
