Abstract EN

This study aimed at the cognizance of real personal and educational use of WEB 2.0 tools, for the students of computer science department, at Bisha University.

To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire of 40 different statements was designed, covering two axis (the personal use and the educational one).The results of the study showed that, the student use degree of WEB 2.0 tools in the personal and educational fields was ranging between 54% - 47% (moderate and weak).

The results also showed that, most of the students (88.5% - 99%) use whatsApp, personally and educationally in respective manner.

The study proposed some recommendations to increase the awareness among the staff about the importance of WEB 2.0 tools to the students.

This has to be done by organizing scientific workshops and carrying research in the procedures of how to make benefits from these tools
