Abstract EN

An analytical method for the determination of lead (pb) concentrations in an environmental and biological liquid samples using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES) and atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) was established.

The mean concentrations of lead in environmental and biological samples were found to be 23.3±1.05 mg/kg, 2.6±0.11 mg/kg, respectively.

Acceptable agreement (at least 95%) was achieved between the results of ICP-AES and AAS.
