Abstract EN

Thes study aimed to evaluate the book of Arabic Language for the third basic grade in Jordan from the view point of the teachers who teach it.

The study sample consisted of male and female Arabic language teachers for this grade in Ma'an governorate educational directorates (Ma'an, Al- Shoubak, Petra and the southern Badia for the scholastic year 2013/ 2014 ).

the sample consisted of 128 male and female teachers.

The sample come to include all the population's individuals.

To achieve the study's goals, the researcher has developed a questionnaire of (48) items that included four domains, objectives, content, evaluation and technical editing.

The results showed that the average of questionnaire's items was moderate, and the technical editing domain was high, followed by the rest of the domains located in the medium level.

Also, the results revealed that there ware no differences attributed to the variable scientific qualification and gender.
