English Abstract
In the present thesis, the discontinuous Galerkin finite element (DGFE) method for two dimension linear convection–diffusion problem is considered.
Here two cases are discussed.
Firstly, the DGFE method is applied for space discretization, continuous in time and discontinuous in space.
Secondly, the DGFE method for spacetime discretization, is performed separately in space and time.
In addition, the properties of the bilinear form , (v-elliptic and continuity), stability for both cases are studied.
Moreover, we proved that the approximate solution is converge with error of order and for both cases respectively.
