English Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of using educational software with cooperative learning on vocabulary acqusation of third grade student's in EFL class rooms in AL- karak directorate of education The sample of the study comprised (60) third grade students in directorate of education; (35) female students and (25) male students.

The study sample was divided into three groups: control group was (20) student which was taught using the conventional method , first experimental group (20) students which was taught using the educational software and second was experimental group (20) students which was taught using cooperative learning.

The findings of the study indicated that there were statistically significant differences at (α =0.01) between the experimental group and the control group in favor of experimental group, In light of the findings of the study, the researcher suggested the following recommendations; the need to apply the educational and cooperative learning strategy in the educational process in the Jordanian schools and the need to training teachers in how to use it and its application in the educational process.
