Abstract EN

The study aimed to analyze secondary school Math textbooks' questions in light of the mental processes of the two sides of the brain separately and the processes of the two sides combined.

The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach .The researcher used an analysis card including three dimensions as a study tool.

The first dimension includes (9) mental processes relating to the right side of the brain.

The second includes other (9)processes related to the left side of the brain .

The third domain covers (7) processes related to the two sided combined .

The study sample consisted of eleventh and Twefth grade textbooks of secondary scientific main stream.

The findings showed that the activated processes were those related to the left side, Followed by those related to the two sides combined whereas those related to the right side came last.
