Abstract EN

This study aimed at investigating Islamic education teachers' perspectives of the development aspects in Islamic education basic grads textbook.

To achieve the study aims, the researcher used a questionnaire consists of (58) item and semi structured interview, and the study sample consist of (190) Islamic education teachers.

The study results showed that the Islamic education teachers' investigation of the development aspects in the basic grads Islamic education textbooks, were on the medium on the total degree.

The results also showed that there was no statically significant difference at the level (α =0.05) regarding to the gender, qualification and years of experience, while there was astatically significant difference regarding the specialty in the favor of Islamic education specialty.

Based on the results some recommendations were made.
