Abstract EN
The current study aimed at determining the prevalence of mathematics learning disabilities at primary school.
And examine the significance of differences between normal pupils and those with mathematics learning disabilities in the degrees of mathematics anxiety.
As well as the differences attributed to gender and the academic level.
In a comparative study between the two samples (30) pupils (males and females) in each sample.
They were selected through a purposive sampling, in the academic year (2015/2016) from some primary schools – in M’sila - using the descriptive comparative method.
Where mathematics anxiety measure designed by(abed and Yakoub, 1994) was implemented because it meets the appropriate conditions for validity and reliability.
After presentation and analysis of the results, they showed a high prevalence estimated at (24.63%)of the total study sample.
And the presence of significant statistical differences in mathematics anxiety in favor of pupils with mathematics learning disabilities.
While there are no statistically significant differences among the study sample due to gender or to their different academic levels.
