Abstract EN
This study aimed to investigate the effect of a training Program for the faculty members in the development of designing and producing skills of some of the electronic assessment tools, correcting and publishing them and their level of satisfaction towards it.
The study was conducted at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University on a sample of (11) faculty members.
To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher designed a training Program for the faculty members in the development of designing and producing skills of some of the electronic assessment tools, correcting and publishing them, an achievement test to investigate the cognitive side and an assessment measure tool to investigate the technical side, to determine the level of the experimental group before and after applying the training program.
Also a measuring tool was designed to determine the faculty members’ level of satisfaction towards the program.
Suitable Statistical tools were used.
The result showed the effectiveness of the training Program for the faculty members of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in development of designing and producing skills of some of the electronic assessment tools, correcting and publishing them and a high level of satisfaction towards the program.
Based on the findings of the study, recommendations were suggested.
Some of the most important recommendations were: conducting training sessions for faculty members in Saudi universities to train them on the use of electronic exams and to encourage them to design this kind of exams and use it in the process of teaching and learning.
