Abstract EN

This study aims at studying and analyzing the questions of difference between Albasra and Alkoufa grammar schools as revealed in the book entitled (Manthour Al-Fowa’ed) written by Abu Al-Barakat Al-Anbari (577 A.

H) and was not mentioned in his other book (Al-Inssaf Fi Masael Al-Khilaf).

The researcher found in the book (Manthour Al-Fawa’ed) fifteen questions of difference that were not mentioned in (Al-Inssaf) book.

The author of the book presented such differences in brief contrary to his methodology in (Al-Inssaf) book.

The researcher studied these differences from Arabic grammar books then surveyed the opinions of different grammarians pertaining to these questions.

Al-Barakat Al-Anbari supported Albasra grammar school in fourteen questions and had a different opinion in one question only regarding which he adopts the opinion of Al-Koufa grammar school.
