This research aims to collect prophetic traditions about the praised delay in the Sunnah, with an indication to the wisdom of that.

The research includes an introduction, preface, and three sections, and a conclusion.

The first section contained the delays in the worship, and the second section contained the delay in Invitation and Jihad, and the third section devoted to talk about delays in the field of justice and sanctions.

The search results: Although the base is the initiative to good deeds in the beginning of its time, but the Sunnah contained the legality of delays in several areas, as a mercy for Islam nation, or for a great wisdom, or significant interest which is intended by Allah the great legislator.
