Abstract EN

The study aimed to clarify the importance of the Iraq company in financing small and medium projects and its role in the development of these projects through coordination with the Iraq private banks.

The research hypothesis is: Iraq company plays an important role in the development of small and medium projects and encourage investment by facilitating the procedures for granting funding for these projects.

The most important conclusions are the contribution of the company to the financing of (18121) small and medium projects during the period (2009-2015) which confirms its role in the promotion small and medium projects, the Iraqi company provided (9050) job opportunities for the unemployed during the period (2009-2015), which means its contribution to reducing unemployment in Iraq.

The most important recommendations are to provide the requirements of small and medium enterprises by reducing lending terms, increasing the amount with the increase in the duration of the loan and setting interest rates based on the activity of the project.
