Abstract EN

This research aims at identifying the effectiveness of the flipped classroom in teaching the science teaching strategies and its assessment course on the academic achievement and mind habits development of the students of Princess Norah bint Abdulrahman University.

In order to investigate the research questions and hypotheses, the researcher used the empirical methodology.

The sample is consisted of (54) students of curriculum and teaching methods students.

(27) students were assigned into the experimental group in which they studied the course using the flipped classroom , and (27) students were assigned into the control group in which they studied the course using the traditional model.

The research tools consisted of an academic achievement test and a mind habits scale, which were applied before and after the experiment on both groups.

The results showed that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in favor of the experimental group.

The results also proved the effectiveness of the flipped classroom on improving the academic achievement of the students.

Furthermore, The results also indicate that there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group on the post application of the mind habits scale.
