The study aimed at identifying the role of the school Management in the value change towards the phenomenon of terrorism and extremism and the methods to develop it through a field study.
The study also aimed to identify the mechanisms by which the social, cultural, ethical and political values of secondary school students in the schools of the first Directorate of Education in Irbid are promoted.
The sample consisted of (388) male and female teachers.
A questionnaire of four dimensions was used.
The analytical descriptive method was used in interpreting the results.
The study concluded with the following: 1.
The means of responses of the study sample on the dimensions of the questionnaire (social value, cultural value, moral value, political value) were highly significant; with the means (3.53) (3.56) (3.65) (3.54) respectively.
Within percentages ranging between (68% -84%), according to the study criteria.
Moral value was first in ranking 2.
There were no statistically significant differences at level (≤ 0.05 α), among the responses of male and female secondary school teachers in the first Directorate of Education in Irbid towards the role of school management in the value change towards the phenomenon of terrorism and extremism due to the variables of the study (sex, qualification, years of years of experience).
