Abstract EN

Emotions are ever-present in academic settings.

It has been shown that emotion influence cognitive factors that impact learning and task achievement.

Achievement emotions are tied directly to achievement activities and outcomes.

Students hope for success, may worry about failure, and likely feel relieved once the exam is over.

Yet, other emotions are experienced: worry about the outcomes.

This research investigates the relationship between achievement emotions and academic achievement.

A questionnaire is constructed to measure the students' achievement emotions.

It is applied to second-year students, at the department of English, College of Education/IbnRushd.
