Abstract EN

The current research attempts at providing a reading of the constituents of the cultural structure and the levels of semantic representation in addition to study of the potential of the Arabic poetic text through addressing the relationship between man, the universe and life, starting from surveying the cultural structure and the semantic potential in the poetry of Omar Baha’ Al-Deen Al-Ameeri.

The research has delineated the problem by answering the following two essential questions: - To what extent can Al-Ameeri’s poetry deepen our awareness of the constituents of the cultural structure in which Al-Ameeri’s community lived? - What are the poetic potentials which the poet used to represent to the demotions that explicate the aspects of this cultural structure?
