English Abstract
The aim of this study was to evaluate food handlers ‘knowledge and behavior regarding the safe handling of food in school canteens in Alexandria City.
The study was conducted on 30 school canteens and included 150 participants.
The level of knowledge was influenced by age, motivation and training.
Our assessment of prevailing knowledge levels indicates that food professionals need to be more aware of the importance of their actions to children’s health.
