The research aim To identify the effectiveness of (K.W.L) strategy in the development of reading comprehension skills of third grade students at primary schools and determine the appropriate skills to this stage, Researcher adopted in the study the approach quasi-experimental, and the study was conducted on a sample of (50) students were divided into two groups, a control (25), and experimental (25) student, Was reached five basic skills to reading comprehension skills and number of sub-skills for up to (14) skills.

It also found statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group and the control group in the post-test skills (the direct comprehension, reasoning, understanding critic, understanding gastronomic, creative understanding, and skills of Reading Comprehension as a whole for the experimental group, and between pre and post of experimental group for post measurement and the size impact of the strategy in the development of Reading Comprehension skills was large.

Ultimately, after conducting this study a number of recommendations and suggested studies have been proposed.
