Abstract EN

The study aimed at recognizing the leading factors to radicalism in the family and means of sons' fortification from it from the University Youths' point of view in Balqa Applied University and the role of the Jordanian Family in the Sons' fortification from Extremism from the University Youths' point of view.

And disclosing if there were differences referring to sex, place of residence, and number of family members The research employed the social surveying method.

And the sample of study consisted of (207) students (males & females) from Balqa Applied University.

They were chosen by the class random sample, the descriptive statistics (percent rates) was employed and the Independent sample T – test, and the one way ANOVA test The most prominent results of study disclosed that from the most important roles that the family has to do for their sons' fortification from Extremism is educating them with dangers of Extremism, in addition to developing their feeling of responsibility, and developing the values of religious tolerance at them.

The study assured the necessity of observing the sons' behavior by fathers.

But about the social factors that students view that it may push youths to Extremism, such as families' abandonment of sons, non – concern about them, in addition to sons' accompanying evil – companions in the shadow of family control absence.

From the most prominent economic factors that lead to Extremism is low level of family living.

The study results pin-pointed that the most important religious factors that lead to Extremism is the misunderstanding of religion inside the family Results of study also showed nonexistence of differences with statistical significance at the level of significance (05.0) and less in the role of the Jordanian family in sons' fortification from Extremism from the university youths point of view in Balqa Applied University, ascribed to the variable of sex, place of residence and the number of family members.
