Abstract EN

The aim of this study was to determine the impact of using an electronic learning environment based on mobile learning through using NEARPOD application on the academic achievement of the students of the College of Education at the University of Princess Norah Bint Abdul Rahman.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed an e-learning environment based on using a mobile learning Application called NEARPOD.

That Application used to teach Google educational Apps unit.

The researcher chose an intentional sample of the female students who study the course of educational technology.

The sample consisted of 60 students who were divided into two groups, experimental and control.

The experimental group were able to use the application through their mobile phones to view the presentations of the unit, watch educational videos, and also participate in electronic participation through the application in ansv/ering varied evaluation questions during and after the lesson.

The study found that the students of the experimental group v/ere superior in the achievement test to the students of the control group.

Which indicated the effectiveness of using the mobile e-learning environment on the academic achievement of students.
