Abstract EN
The purpose of the study is to investigate the degree of practicing students' violence as perceived by academic leaders in public universities at the north of Jordan.
The sample was selected through cluster random sampling consisting of (146) academic leaders in public universities at the north of Jordan, those are; Yarmouk University, Science & Technology University, al-Al-Bayt University.
The descriptive method was used since it suits the nature and the objective of the study.
The findings of the study showed that the degree of practicing students' violence as perceived by academic leaders was in an average level in all domains, as the domains arranged as follows; physical violence, psychological violence, verbal violence and property violence.
Moreover, there are significant statistical differences attributed to university variable in all violence practicing domains in public universities at the north of Jordan as perceived by academic leaders.
There are significant statistical differences attributed to post variable in verbal and physical violence domains and the total in favor of department head.
There are no significant statistical differences attributed to years of experience variable in all violence practicing domains in public universities at the north of Jordan as perceived by academic leaders.
The study presented a number of recommendation among which is passing laws and instructions who practice violent actions, and increasing the concern of how to deal with those students and esta blushing a security department that deals with violence problems that may occur in universities before they spread.
