Abstract EN

The present study aimed to detect the relationship between self-esteem and learning motivation to students In literacy sections, by using the descriptive approach and application of the learning Scalemotivation,ofYousef ketani (1989),and the self-esteem scale of "Hesin Abd el aziz el derini and others (1985) on asample of literacy students sections composed of 48 students in 3 primary schools, in the province of " Msila " during the school year (2015 - 2016) .The results showed the following: -The existence of relationship between self-esteem level and learning motivation level among students in literacy sections.

-The existence of statistically significant differences in the level of learning motivation among students in literacy sections according to the variable of age.

-The existence of statistically significant differences in the level of self-esteem among students in literacy sections in the light of the age variable.

-The results were explained in the light of the psychological and educational heritage and previous studies.

and finally the study was culminated by a set of proposals.
