This paper treats an important issue in the field of Language Didactic, concerning the Linguistics competence which reflects an important aspect of intellectual creativity in the field of language according to Ibn Khaldun , in addition to clarifying the value of this field in the light of the modern linguistic theory , because the competence within the contemporary linguists is very important and must be given great consideration in language learning .

This is what has been pointed out by Ibn Khaldun.

When looking at the value of Ibn Khaldun’s linguistic thoughts, we can say that what he reached and his views are no less important than the modern linguistic theories.

Moreover, he represents an educational material suitable for investment in the development of language teaching mechanisms
