Abstract EN

The Algerian literature written in French continued as a big controversial issue between supporters and opponents.

Both the Algerian and French critics has already engaged in the identity of the Algerian literature and its national citizenship.

However, there were some Russian orientalists voices who studied the Algerian literature written in French in terms of production, history and rooting like the Russian orirentalists Svetlana Projoguina and Gureguero Robert Landa among many others.

In this paper, we try to investigate the Russian orientalists perception of the Algerian literature in general and the one written in French in particular, and their exact attitude of its identity as well as its national citizenship.
