There is much talk about the criticism methods and the possibility of approaching it to the Arabic text.

We seek through this paper to talk about modern Western criticism approaches.

May these approaches be suitable to the Arabic text? Did the Arabs manage to realize the principles of the criticism approach from the womb of the theory of knowledge? Is it applied to the Arabic text without the problematic on the scrutiny and adaptation of the principles to it? This is because the reality of the criticism practice in the contemporary Arab world needs to build up a new awareness in an attempt to address this problem
