Many newspapers have preserved important critical articles.

But, in fact, most researchers still do not care about literary journalism.

They are limited in the bibliography of their studies and research to" official "references: books and articles in specialized journals.

In this study, we are interested in some articles published in Arabic newspapers or electronic ones about the biography of critic and professor at the Lebanese University Yomna Al-ied يمنى العيد "Spirit insomnia" أرق الروح published in 2013 We are trying to extract the most important issues that the critics have treated in their journalistic articles and to discern the advantages of writing and its methods in literary criticism.
