The study aims to identify the degree of stuttering and academic performance and verify the effectiveness of a training program to reduce stuttering to improve academic performance among elementary pupil's slum dwellers.
The sample consisted of 16 students from second and third primary stage, divided into two groups: the experimental group and the control group.
The Researcher apply the following tools: Stanford Binet scale fifth image.
Legalized by Safwat Faraj (2010), Socio-cultural level form, Prepared by: Alia Ahmed Hassan Mohamed (1998) , Stuttering scale for (7 : 9 ) elementary pupils slum dwellers, Prepared by the researcher, Academic performance scale for (7 : 9 ) elementary pupils slum dwellers.
Prepared by the researcher, A training program to reduce stuttering of primary school students in slums.

The training program consists of (55) training session , many training methods were applied, the researcher used non-parametric statistical methods to validate the results of the study such as: The Wilcoxon test, Whitney U test.
The results showed a statistically differences between the experimental group and the control group in stuttering and academic performance after applind the programm for the experimental group.
The study also showed statistically significant differences between the pre and post measurements For the benefit of the post-measurement of the experimental group scores in the two scales of the study, except for the fifth and sixth hypotheses, the results showed that there are no statistically significant differences In members marks of the experimental group in the stuttering and academic performance between the post and tracing measurements.
The study's out, a set of recommendations for: the stuttering student, the family, communication specialist, teachers, the responsible for people with special needs, Educational departments and Educational institutions, and the media
