Abstract EN

The study aimed to uncover the psychological pressures on nurses and to detect the impact of personal and organizational variables in occupational stress in some health institutions in Algiers.

In order to achieve these goals, we designed a questionnaire to measure the level of feeling of stress (we verified its psychometric characteristics) and applied it to a sample of 160 nurses.

The study was conducted in six health institutions in Algiers.

We also applied a questionnaire to measure pressure sources from the Cooper pressure indicator.

The level of pressure in various sources, The results of the study showed that the nurses suffer from high occupational pressure, and that the group suffers from various sources of professional pressure, but the effect varies from one source to another.
