Abstract EN

This research tries to study a distinguished short story collection for an important Jordanian writer Khalil Qandeel, the title of this collection is Saiedat Al a'shab (the lady of Grass).

This study enlightens the different themes and elements in the collection such as: the representations of places, the features of women and the way the writer use multi voices in his stories, poetic mystery, and the use of popular tradition.

The study focuses on the artistic and aesthetic features in the stories.
