This research deals with the image of the Islamic sect in the writings of the fourth century AH and the factors that led to the distortion of the Islamic groups in the political life of the Islamic community.

The shedding light on the history of these Islamic groups contributes to understanding the objective conditions that helped in their appearance and spread in the Islamic society.
