This study excogitates the Sephardim Torah Guards Party, "Shas" from the historical roots of its formation, and its establishment in 1984, Under the leadership of Ovadia Yosef Rabbi until the elections in 2015., its participation in the Knesset elections, its participation in successive governments, the ideology of the party, its objectives, and the positions of Shas on issues Internal, from the Israeli-Arab conflict and from Zionism, the most prominent obstacles faced by Shas, and the leaders of the party The study concluded, among other outcomes: Racial discrimination among Jews was a cause of Shas, and Shas exploited religion for political gain, and was combined with labor and likud parties by political circumstances, without regard for religious principles, and has become a strong contender for the Zionist religious party of Mafdal, who Askenazi religionists.
