The present study aimed to identify the role of school principals and teachers in Palestine to face school dropout phenomenon, in order to achieve the objective of the study, a questionnaire of (38) paragraphs was developed and distributed over four areas and verify its validity and reliability, and then distributed to the sample of the study which was consisting of (97) male and female school principals, and (391) male and female teachers, and the researchers distributed (488) questionnaire and received (379) questionnaire valid for statistical analysis.

It was chosen by random stratified method.

The descriptive approach in this study was used.

The results showed that the degree of appreciation of the role of school principals and teachers in Palestine to face the phenomenon of school dropout was high, where the average arithmetic of the tool as a whole is (3.92) The results of the study also showed that there are statistically significant differences in the role of school principals and teachers in Palestine to face the phenomenon of school dropout due to the variable of career status for school principals, and the absence of differences of statistical significance attributed to the variables of the scientific qualification, school sex, school site, stage level.

In light of the findings of the study, the researchers recommend a number of recommendations including: giving more attention to dropout students, and further studies on this phenomenon
