Abstract EN

Since the 19th century, translations - Most of which being in standard formal Arabic - of the literary works of Shakespeare have always been a staple for so many Arab translators .

Many adaptations produced by directors and playwrights appropriated Shakespeare-based characters and plots for original works and gained prominence.

In this paper, the aim is to analyze and consider the relationship between the Arab world ( their Arab/ic productions and adaptations) and Shakespeare works.
