This study examines the meaning of the term "Saleh al-Hadith" by Abu Hatem alRazi, through the book "The wound and modification" of his son 'Abd alRahmanibnAbiHatim, and comparing these narrators with IbnHajar's rulings.

The study concluded that the meaning of the term (Saleh al-Hadith) in Abu Hatem revolves between the degree of confidence to the degree of al-Saduq - often - and between the accepted to the weak - sometimes - and that it is a term of the amendment – often.
