Abstract EN

This document presents an experiment in the automatic translation of poetic texts from English to Arabic and French to Arabic we show that the language used in this type of texts are complex and specialised because of its relation with emotions an SMT system like systran can not produce intelligible and useful translation that needs the intervention of human translator to be corrected and evaluated.
