Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the effect of reciprocal teaching in improving creative writing skills among the seventh Graders in Jordan; to a chive the objectives of the study, the researchers used the semi experimental method.

The study sample consisted of (146) male and female students.

chosen from public schools in Irbid Education Directorate for the scholastic year 2014/2015.

The control group consisted of(39) male students (35) female students.

and the experimental group consisted of (38) male students and (34) female students.

The researchers used a test for creative writing, Validity and reliability were confirmed.

The findings indicated that there are significant statistical differences in favor of the experimental group.

The findings also indicated that there are no significant statistical differences in improving creative writing skills attributed to gender and the interaction between teaching strategy and gender
