English Abstract
This research aimed to measure the existence of stewards in Microfinance institutions’ staff working in Gaza Strip.
The research also aimed to measure the impact of employee satisfaction to organizational success and attaining organizational goals, in addition to examining the effect of economic situation to staff’s performance and stewardship.
The descriptive analytical approach was adopted through using a stratified random sample of the research population.
The research population consisted of all administrative staff members (117 in number) with varied titles.
An exploratory study was conducted.
A total of 80 questionnaires were distributed and 74 questionnaires were collected, with a response rate of 92.5%.
The SPSS was used for analysis.
The research demonstrated that the employees working in microfinance institutions have a high level of stewardship and satisfaction.
The research also showed that there is a significant relationship between the independent dimensions, "Employee Satisfaction" with the dependent variable "Steward’s Behavior”, Steward’s behavior have a positive impact on the organization’s success for microfinance institutions.
A number of recommendations were reached, the most important of which were, motivating employees, assessing and responding to their needs, empowering them and giving them the opportunity to make decisions.
Reducing job stress and pressure, which may hinder employees' performance, is a persistent need for employees.
Moreover, organizations should create employees a more comfortable working climate.
All these recommendations are important due to their powerful role in enhancing job commitment as a result.
