Construction planning CP can be considered as one of the most important phases in construction projects.

this research aims to find the most important factors affecting construction planning (CP).

those factors identified using the following two steps.

first, collecting factors affecting CP through a comprehensive literature review.

second, identifying the most important planning factors using Delphi technique.

this research helps practitioner engineers to create successful plans by focusing on specific factors affecting project planning.
