Objective of this research is to know the role of in – service training courses to improve teaching performance for technical education teachers, and know the differences between the answers of teachers depending on the variables: (years of experience, number of training courses, and qualification).

The researcher adopted a descriptive analytical method.

The sample consisted of (35) male and female teachers of Art Education in Al-Jahra City.

The researcher built a questionnaire consisting of (74) items distributed on three axes.

The most important results: - There are significant differences between the mean answers of teachers to identify research attributable to the variable of years of experience for the benefit of individuals who possess years of experience more than 15 years.

- No statistically significant differences between the averages answers of teachers to identify research attributable to the variable of training courses.

- There are significant differences between the mean answers of teachers to identify research attributable to the variable of educational level for the benefit of individuals who possess the qualification of (diploma or higher) in Art Education.

Training sessions for technical education teachers, continuously and intensively because there is the importance of these training courses and dramatically and this is what turns out from members of the research sample responses about the importance of these courses from their point of view.

-Teaching skills should be developed with technical education teachers through regular training sessions.
