Abstract EN

This study aims at presenting the reality of classroom teaching in the presence of children learning difficulties through a critical study of a typical lesson of the first grade students in order to find out If the construction of learning efficiently helps overcome and address the children’s learning difficulties.

The descriptive approach which is a suitable method for this type of study has been adopted, and the researcher used descriptive observation in particular as a tool to analyze the teaching method.

The results of this study confirm the hypothesis that school factors, in general, and classroom teaching in particular are strong contributors to the aggravation and intensification of the problems of the children with learning difficulties, as it is a non-supportive environment for them and turned to be - in the absence of a classroom-based teaching method adapted to their needs and proper requirements - ineffective in treating or overcoming their difficulties in achievement.

These shortcomings and deficiencies, as the study recommended, need to be quickly managed and treated in order to avoid further deterioration of the phenomenon over time.
