Abstract EN

Our study aimed to know the effects of using smartphones on basic-stage scholar students' outcome, based on teachers' point of view.

The study was conducted in Irbid and Jarash provinces, Jordan; it was an investigational and analytical research.

Study sample was 400 basic stage scholar teachers in each Irbid and Jarash provinces; they were chosen randomly.

In order to achieve our goals, we made a united form survey as a mean to collect data from study subjects.

We also made sure of the validity and stability of our mean.

The results have shown that: 1) there is a high negative effect of using smartphones on basic-stage scholar students’ outcome, based on teachers' views, in Irbid and Jarash.

The negative effect included all life aspects (health, psychological, social and behavioral aspects).

2)There is a low positive effect of using smartphones on basic-stage scholar students’ outcome, based on teachers' views, in Irbid and Jarash.

3) There is no significant difference among subjects' views about negative effects based on (sex, work experience) (a > 0.05).

4) There is a significant difference among subjects' views about negative effects based on educational qualification (a < 0.05); teachers' views supported bachelor stage.

5) There is no significant difference (a > 0.05) among subjects' views about positive effects based on (sex.

work experience and educational qualification).
