This paper addresses the significant increase in the number of disasters and crises reported from different countries and communities.

a disaster or a crisis may arise as a sudden emergency.

during disasters, due to natural hazards such as famines, floods, earthquakes, epidemics, etc., or in crises that arise from wars or violent conflicts, the immediate action is needed to save lives, reduce suffering, damage and losses, and to support affected people.

these actions combined with preventative measures to support higher national interests, constitute the core components of disaster and crisis management work.

in this respect, this paper examines the legality of aid charities in times of crises and disasters based on principles of Islamic jurisprudence, as well as the rules governing each of these general and particular issues.

however, the aim of this paper is to set practical criteria for these great actions that are provided in these bad conditions, which are commonly associated with randomness and chaos as per the disaster and its impact.

in the first chapter, the paper discusses the concept of relief and disasters, including causes of disasters, and types of disaster relief, within the general framework of relief’s legality, especially a relief to non-Muslim.

in the third and last chapters, the paper discusses general and particular principles of Islamic jurisprudence, as well as certain rules in relation to the subject matter.
