Abstract EN

This research aims at shedding to light on the most prominent contributions to the Islamic history until the end of first Abbasid Khaliphate (caliphate).

the researcher introduced the study by defining the lineage of the tribe of Kalb and its residence region.

the researcher found that this tribe had an active role during the period of prophet call and the subsequent invasions, as well as the political and administrative aspects, besides the cultural land scholar fields.

the research depended on several primary sources of lineage and biography books besides the lexicons and the books of general history, as well as the geographical sources.

it also depended on the contemporary books and studies that have been mentioned in the end of research.

the researcher assigned a conclusion section with results and recommendations.
