Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of teaching mathematics based on the components of concepts- rich teaching in the development of creative thinking skills among Primary Stage students, the sample consisted of (55) students of the fifth grade in northern Amman, of which 27 students group Experimental and 28 student control group, the study used the creative thinking test consisting of (5) open mathematical issues.

The results of the study showed that there are significant differences at the level of significance (0.05 = α) related to the teaching method in the skills of creative thinking (fluency, flexibility, originality).

The results also showed that the size of a large effect of teaching based on the components of concepts- rich teaching.
