Abstract EN

The aim of the study was to reveal the degree of practicing democratic behaviors among secondary schools teachers, and to reveal the differences in the degree of practicing democratic behavior among secondary schools teachers according to gender, service and qualification from schools’ principals and educational supervisors point of view.

The sample of the study consisted of (191) schools’ principals and (194) educational supervisors.

To achieve the study objectives, a questionnaire was used.

The result of the study revealed that the degree of school teachers practices was high from schools principals and educational supervisors point of view.

There were statistically significant differences in the degree of school teachers practices of democratic behavior from schools principals point of view due to age, in favor of (less than 40 years), while there were no differences due to gender and service.

There were statistically significant differences in the degree of school teachers practices of democratic behavior from educational supervisors point of view due to gender, in favor of females; due to service, in favor of (less than 5 years, from 5 years – less than 10 years), while no differences were found due to age.
