Abstract EN

This research aims at inquiring the effectiveness developed unit based on integrated approach on improving reading comprehension and writing skills among 10th Basic Grade Students in Jordan.

The study was applied on (63) students from first University school in Amman governorate, distributed randomly into two groups, the experimental group which consisted of (32) students, and control group which consisted of (31) students.

The research used the qusiexperimental design.

To achieve the purposes of the study, a test consisted of (24) items was used to measure the reading comprehension skills of the study sample.

Another test was also used to measure their and writing skills.

The study showed that there is a significant effect of teaching by developed unit based on integrated approach to improve reading comprehension and writing skills in favor of the experimental group
