Abstract EN

This study deals with the efforts Imam Al-Youneni exerted in listening by heart and reciting Sahih Al-Bukhari.

Al-Youneni held 71 sessions to document and authenticate the differences between the copies by using signs.

in these sessions, he began to recite Sahih Al-Bukhari while Ibn Malik Al-Bahawi was revising and other hadith scholars were also revising other copies and write down what Al-Youneni says.

this process continued until the book is completed and this copy became known as the original (Asl) and the copies of it became known as the reproduction copy (Al-Fara’).

it happened that Sultan Abed-Haned got either the original or the reproduction copy and ordered to print it.

this copy was given the name of the sultanic edition which is the most authentic version of Sahih Al-Bukhari.
