The role of traditional learning is based on the indoctrination and transmission of ready-made information from the teacher to the learner.

Perhaps what explains this role is the implicit postulates on which this type of education is based, namely the lack of confidence in the student's natural abilities to learn, and the belief that everything that is taught is learned; hence, it makes him a passive recipient bound by a situation in which he is supposed to teach not To learn.

The focus on the teacher centered, as a basic pole in the learning process, to ensure a good efficiency, led to the limitation of the student interaction, and deprived his freedom to learn.

In order to get out of this abnormal situation, e-learning came as an aspect of contemporary education, to free the learner, by respecting his freedom to choose and determine the space and time of what he desires to learn by self-learning, free from the cognitive guardianship executed by the teacher on his students
